Today’s top 5 charts are here to challenge your perspective 👇️

1) German equities are the top-performing global asset in 2025: Pretty remarkable. European equities have, in general, done well along with China and UK. Mag7 has dragged down the Nasdaq while Bitcoin too, has returned -8.3% since start of the year.

Data till March 1st, 25

2) S&P 500 earnings roundup: 63% of S&P 500 companies have beaten revenue estimates to date for Q4 - far below the 5-year average of 69%

Your job called—it wants better business news

Welcome to Morning Brew—the world’s most engaging business newsletter. Seriously, we mean it.

Morning Brew’s daily email keeps professionals informed on the business news that matters, but with a twist—think jokes, pop culture, quick writeups, and anything that makes traditionally dull news actually enjoyable.

It’s 100% free—so why not give it a shot? And if you decide you’d rather stick with dry, long-winded business news, you can always unsubscribe.

3) China’s infrastructure boom: In just three years, China used more cement than the U.S. did in a century. Old chart/data but WOW!

4) The wealthy dominate spending in US: “The wealthiest 10% of American households—those making more than $250,000 a year, are now responsible for almost half of all US consumer spending”.

Not a very healthy looking chart, as such concentration of wealth in a small group of people creates economic fragility and societal divides.

5) Europe’s turn to the hard right: The average vote share of hard-right parties has hit 24%, surpassing WWII-era highs. AfD - Germany’s hard right political party just became the second-largest party with 20.8% of the vote in recent elections.
